First we have "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"
This is the latest installment of raunchy comedies from the producers of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up". The laughter continues as we explore getting over the heartache of being dumped. After a VERY naked break-up Peter (Jason Segel, "How I Met Your Mother") is trying to forget his celebrity girlfriend Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell, "Veronica Mars"), when she leaves him for British-rocker Aldous (Russell Brand). To help him get over things, Peter takes a trip to Hawaii only to find himself face to face with the happy new couple. But his attention soon turns to the beautiful hotel employee Rachel (Mila Kunis, "That 70's Show"). The humorous disasters continue to fly until Peter decides to focus on what will make him happy, interestingly this involves a rock-opera about Dracula.... I'm going to vote this a "Go" just for the puppets, the newlywed couple, surfing, the step-brother and just because this is great for anyone who has had their heart ripped out.
Professor Lawrence Wetherhold (Dennis Quaid) is brilliant and working very hard to prove his intelligence to the world. But we find that when it comes to personal relationships and family, he is a bit clueless. After the loss of his wife, he has raised his son and daughter to the high
standard he expects of everyone. His teenage daughter (Ellen Page, "Juno") is an overachiever who has followed her dad's self-absorbed footsteps very closely. When Lawrence suffers a seizure while trying to rescue his briefcase he finds himself trying to win over his Doctor and former student, Janet (Sarah Jessica Parker). Then enters the saving grace of this film, Quaid's adopted brother Chuck (Thomas Haden Church). Chuck is perfect at the art of freeloading and bringing a family together. An interesting film about family and finding your way through life.I'll give this one a "So-so". An okay show that runs a little slow.
